Alias Football

Experience the next most thrilling game after football. Describe and guess football terms with friends.

ALIAS FOOTBALL is a team-based challenge where competing squads aim to identify as many football-related names—players, clubs, and managers—as possible within a set time limit.

Play Alias Football with at least two teams, each having two or more players. One person from each team describes the names shown on a card while teammates try to guess them before time runs out. Descriptions must avoid saying the name directly; instead, use related hints, facts, or context. Each correct guess earns the team one point. The first team to reach the target score wins.

GAME OPTIONS

Modes

Before the game begins, select one of two available modes in the Game Settings.

• Classic

In Classic mode, each card shows five names. You must guess all names on the card to proceed to the next one.

• Arcade

Arcade mode puts one name on each card. Move forward by guessing the name or skipping it, but skipping costs your team one point.

Score and Time

Adjust the winning “Score” and round “Time” in Game Settings before playing. The winning score is the number of points required for victory. Time sets the duration of each round in seconds.

Pack

Choose your preferred “pack” before starting a game. Each pack contains a themed group of names—players, managers, and clubs. The standard pack offers widely recognized figures and teams by default.

Some packs let you focus only on player names or include managers and clubs as well. Certain packs also feature “Easy” and “Hard” difficulty levels.

Teams

Play with the default two teams or add extra teams before the game. You can also customize your team’s name.

Kick-off

Tap "Kick off" to begin the round. During play, track your points and remaining time. Check the overall game score after each round.
