While many chess AI mobile games are available, ChessCraft stands out by allowing you to invent wacky boards and pieces and then play against a capable computer opponent. Design new pieces using any combination of the 8 bishop or rook slides, along with a 7x7 grid of knight-like hops. You can even enhance or restrict the abilities of nearby pieces. Build new boards with customizable tiles up to 16x16, set up promotion rules for any piece, and add special tile rules such as witch windows (teleporters) and sanctuaries. The AI leverages advanced concepts from computer science and graph theory to understand and compete against your creations.
When you share your board designs, your friends can also take on the AI. Each shared board gets its own unique web page, like this example: Shape Variant 1.
