Eternium can genuinely be played for free, as over 90% of our players choose to do so. Optional purchases are available, but the game's main currency, gems, can be collected from enemies and quests without any limiting stamina or energy. Progress through the game from common to rare, epic, and legendary gear. Find gemstones to fit into your armor’s sockets, craft socketed rings and amulets, and fuse three into a higher quality item. Unleash formidable offensive abilities like Whirlwind, Shockwave, Arc Lightning, or Blizzard, control crowds with Frost Nova, Vortex, or Silence, or use stealth tactics with Smokescreen, Traps, and Snipe.

Each hero class offers access to around 20 abilities, with each of your three companions providing four additional ones. The game starts simple but evolves into a complex web of tactical possibilities at higher levels. Once your hero reaches level 70, you can continue to progress with unlimited Champion Levels, which provide steady stat upgrades and are inherited by new heroes, making their growth smoother.
