Available for iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch, Maximus provides a challenging and engaging gameplay experience for players of all skill levels.

In 2012, Maximus competed against former World Champion Alexander Schwarzman, demonstrating its formidable capabilities despite a narrow defeat (five draws and one loss). More recently, it achieved a third-place finish in the (unofficial) 2019 World Championship Computer Draughts competition (running on a desktop computer, which is naturally more powerful than a mobile device). Even on mobile, you'll find Maximus a fierce and rewarding opponent!

Whether you're a seasoned draughts player or a complete beginner, Maximus offers a range of difficulty levels to suit your expertise. Start with a mode designed to help you learn the rules, where Maximus makes random moves. Then, progress through ten training levels, from beginner to expert, before challenging Maximus with longer thinking times.

Enhance your skills by analyzing your games with Maximus, learning from your mistakes, and identifying areas for improvement. The app also functions as a convenient draughts travel set, notation booklet, and even a substitute player for competitions!
