Story

Your adventure kicks off in a serene forest near the Riders' village, where you, along with Lilia and Cheval, encounter a radiant egg. In a light-hearted moment, you mimic the Rite of Kinship, only to be astounded as the ritual works! From the egg emerges a baby Rathalos, dubbed "Ratha" by the trio, and your journey back to the village begins.

Tragedy strikes when a monster corrupted by the "Black Blight" attacks your village. Despite driving it away, the scars left on Cheval and Lilia run deep. A year later, as a newly appointed Rider with a Kinship Stone, you part ways with your childhood friends. Alongside the spirited Navirou, you embark on an epic quest into the hunter's world, where tales of friendship and victory await.

• As of March 31, 2020, the Network Battle function is discontinued due to changes in Google Play Games. However, updating to Ver.1.0.2 allows access to all Titles earned from Battle Ranks.
• Upon first launch, you must agree to the "Monster Hunter Stories End User License Agreement" available at http://game.capcom.com/manual/MHST_mobile/global/en/rule.php.
• The storyline mirrors the introduction of the handheld console version, but certain features like collaboration content, amiibo functionality, local Network Battles, and StreetPass are not included.
• Deleting the app will result in the loss of all saved data.
• The app requires a Wi-Fi connection for download.
• Battle Party QR codes from the Japanese version are incompatible with this version.
