Mushaf is a free and user-friendly app designed for reading the Quran, offering a comprehensive digital experience. As an electronic Quran, Mushaf comes packed with unique features that cater to reading, listening, and memorizing, especially tailored for children, along with interpretations.
One of the standout features of Mushaf is its built-in paper Mushaf and Tafsir, allowing users to access these resources without an internet connection. The app boasts an advanced index system, organizing the Quran into parts and Suras, and includes a search function for both indexes, enhancing user navigation.
Mushaf provides multiple versions of the Quran, including the Mushaf Al-Madina, Mushaf Al-Tajweed (which is color-coded according to Tajweed rules), and Mushaf Warsh (Rewayat Warsh An-Nafei'). For auditory learners, the app offers gapless audio playback with recitations from renowned reciters, covering Rewayat Hafs, Warsh, and Qaloon.
Users can search through the entire Quran text or focus on specific Suras, and share text or images from the Quran. The app also includes Arabic Tafsir (Commentary) from respected scholars such as Al-Saa'di, Ibn-Katheer, Al-Baghawy, Al-Qortoby, Al-Tabary, and Al-Waseet. Additionally, text translations of the Quran's meanings are available in English and French.
For those interested in the grammatical structure of the Quran, Mushaf offers E’rab (Grammar) by Qasim Da'aas. The app enhances the reading experience with features like split-screen viewing of the Quran and Tafsir, page switching with swipe or volume buttons, and an easy way to save page or verse bookmarks by swiping the bookmark handle.
Mushaf also includes practical features such as keeping the screen always on during reading, a night mode for comfortable viewing, the ability to convert Quran text and control font size, and synchronization between recitation and the Aya position on the page, which highlights the Aya as it is recited. Users can repeat verses, keep audio playing even when the app is closed, and control audio playback from the notification bar.
