Razer has unveiled its highly anticipated 2025 lineup of gaming laptops, the Razer Blade 16 and Razer Blade 18, which are now exclusively available for purchase at Razer.com and Razer stores. The Razer Blade 16 is currently shipping, with deliveries starting as early as late April. Pricing for the Razer Blade 16 begins at $2,999.99 for the RTX 5070 Ti model, $3,499.99 for the RTX 5080, and $4,499.99 for the top-of-the-line RTX 5090 configuration. Unfortunately, the Razer Blade 18 is currently out of stock.

Razer Blade laptops are renowned for their superior build quality, crafted from a single piece of aluminum to achieve a remarkably slim and lightweight design. To maintain such a sleek profile, Razer employs its proprietary cooling system, which uses a vacuum-sealed, liquid-filled, copper vapor chamber for efficient heat dissipation. This level of engineering, akin to that seen in Apple's MacBook Pros, justifies the premium pricing of Razer Blades compared to other gaming laptops.

We've reviewed an RTX 5090 mobile laptop

Our benchmarks indicate that the RTX 5090 is the new leading mobile GPU, though its performance increase over the RTX 4090 is modest, ranging from 5% to 10%. However, with DLSS 4, the performance gap becomes more noticeable.

RTX 5090 Mobile Review by Jacqueline Thomas

"If you already own a decent gaming laptop, you might not need to consider the RTX 5090. Its improvements over the previous generation are not significant. However, if you're looking to upgrade to a high-end gaming laptop, the RTX 5090's features like multi-frame generation and battery boost make it a compelling choice."
