"20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of Top Star Wars Novel Released"

There's no surer way to grapple with one's mortality in 2025 than to realize that Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith is now 20 years old. However, the silver lining is that the movie is returning to theaters in May as part of Lucasfilm's anniversary celebration. Additionally, fans can look forward to the rerelease of author Matthew Stover's acclaimed novelization of Revenge of the Sith, which is available for preorder on Amazon.

As reported by Collider, a new Deluxe Edition hardcover of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith is set to be released in October. This edition boasts new cover art, red foil edge pages, a removable acetate jacket, and over 170 new annotations by Stover himself.

For those who have never experienced Stover's Revenge of the Sith novelization, it is widely regarded as one of the best Star Wars novels and often considered superior to the film itself. While it follows the plot of George Lucas' screenplay, the book greatly enriches many scenes and subplots, offering a deeper exploration into the minds of characters like Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Count Dooku.
