Today marks the global release of Alphadia III on Android, the latest installment in the beloved Alphadia series. Brought to you by publisher KEMCO and developer EXE CREATE, the game initially debuted in Japan last October.
Set in the year 970 of the Alphadian calendar, Alphadia III immerses players in the climactic phase of the Energi War, a monumental struggle over a potent life force known as energi. The conflict has split the world among three dominant powers: the Schwarzschild Empire in the north, the Nordsheim Kingdom to the west, and the Luminea Alliance in the east.
Amidst the brink of chaos, the narrative centers on a clone soldier named Alfonso. The story unfolds when a girl named Tarte visits him, bearing the somber news of a fellow clone's death. This pivotal moment triggers a transformative shift in Alfonso, propelling the plot forward.
Embracing the classic turn-based combat system with a side-view perspective, Alphadia III retains its nostalgic pixel art charm. Players can utilize SP Skills, which accumulate during battles and can dramatically alter the course of a fight when deployed strategically.
Another key feature is the Arrays system, comprising various battle formations and strategies that unlock progressively. These provide versatile combat approaches tailored to different adversaries.
A novel gameplay element is the Energi Crock, where players can deposit surplus items. Over time, the Crock generates Energi Elements, which can be exchanged for equipment or other valuable items at in-game shops.
Throughout the journey, players will encounter various factions, including the peacekeeping Deval alliance and the elite Rosenkreutz military unit from Nordsheim. Additionally, different energi clone models are introduced, such as the Berger Series from Nordsheim and the Delta Series from Schwarzschild.
Beyond the main narrative, Alphadia III offers an abundance of side content. The game is optimized for controller use, enhancing the overall gaming experience. You can purchase Alphadia III on the Google Play Store for $7.99, or opt for the freemium version, which includes ads.
