Castle Doombad is back and better than ever! Now available on Android as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, this tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014 by Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1, offers a fresh take on villainous fun.

Grumpyface, known for hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light and Teeny Titans, initially planned a simple remake. However, they wisely split the project into two: Free To Slay for mobile and Castle Doombad Classic, a remastered version for Nintendo Switch and Steam (releasing later this year) featuring updated content. A sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.

Unleash Your Inner Evil in Castle Doombad: Free To Slay!

Embrace your wicked side, cackle with delight, and wreak havoc! Construct the most fiendish lair imaginable while repelling heroic do-gooders. Unlike typical tower defense games, your arsenal consists of traps and minions.

This free-to-play game (with ads and optional in-app purchases) includes the complete original game with 70 stages, daily challenges, and endless modes. Over 30 traps await unlocking and upgrading, along with 100+ collectible items.

A new cosmetic system, "spoils," lets you customize your Dark Lord and his lair with evil artifacts. Combine these with equippable "Baddie Bonus" perks for enhanced villainy.

A challenging new roguelite mode, "Dr. Lord Evilstein's Roguevenge," features randomly generated castle layouts and powerful Nightmares that grant unique abilities. Download Castle Doombad: Free To Slay from the Google Play Store today!
