According to renowned journalist Jason Schreier, the acclaimed studio Rocksteady is currently developing an exciting new single-player Batman game. While details are still under wraps, Schreier has not confirmed whether this game will serve as a prequel, a direct continuation of the beloved Arkham saga, or something entirely new within a different universe. However, an insider source has suggested that Rocksteady might be crafting a game centered around the futuristic world of Batman Beyond, aiming to create a full-blown trilogy that will immerse players in a futuristic Gotham.

The game is slated for release on the next generation of consoles, promising to leverage the advanced capabilities of these systems. The Arkham series was celebrated for its stunning visuals, and the prospect of a futuristic Gotham could offer Rocksteady's most visually striking creation to date.
