Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is adjusting its upcoming DLC in response to player concerns. In an August 27 post on the game's official X (formerly Twitter) account, developers announced they are reworking the paid DLC clans Lasombra and Toreador.

Players expressed confusion about the decision to exclude these story-critical clans from the base game, believing they should have been included from the start. Instead, they will be part of the Shadows & Silk DLC available on launch day.

Publisher Paradox Interactive has previously demonstrated flexibility with similar situations, having offered the Beach Properties DLC for Cities: Skylines 2 for free after its underwhelming reception in 2023, including refunds for early purchasers.

The community hopes for a similar resolution with Bloodlines 2, particularly since several months remain before launch. Paradox has committed to sharing further details about the DLC adjustments as soon as possible.

Video Content Roadmap

As Bloodlines 2 approaches its launch window, developers are preparing a series of video showcases. Following the August 28 livestream that revealed early gameplay, seven additional videos are scheduled before release.
