The New Denpa Men Lands on Android with Quirky Features Customized for Mobile

The New Denpa Men has made its exciting debut on Android devices, following its initial release on the Nintendo Switch in July 2024. Developed and published by Genius Sonority, this quirky RPG brings a few unique twists to the mobile platform compared to its console counterpart.

One of the standout features of The New Denpa Men on Android is its support for cross-platform play. If you've been adventuring with your Denpa Men on the Switch, you can seamlessly transfer your progress and continue your journey on your mobile device. This ensures you don't have to start from scratch and can enjoy the game's full experience on the go.

Exclusive to the mobile version, the Android (and iOS) release introduces QR Catch, a new feature that allows you to scan QR codes in your vicinity to add Denpa Men to your team. This replaces the Normal Catch mechanic found on the Switch. However, note that some Switch features, such as Together Catch and Offline Catch, are not available on mobile.

Another exciting addition to the Android version is the Voucher Collection feature. After battles, monsters may drop vouchers called Akashi. Collecting these vouchers helps you complete your collection, and they can be gifted to friends or utilized in battles, adding a social and strategic layer to the gameplay.

The game also introduces a fun twist with scarecrows. You can now summon monsters using them, and these summoned creatures will join your battles, attacking enemies and healing your party. To see this feature in action, check out the game's trailer below.
