So far, Netflix has released a teaser trailer that captures the essence of what makes Love, Death + Robots so compelling. Packed with stunning visuals and bizarre concepts, the preview gives us glimpses of some unforgettable scenes:

  • A dramatic space battle or cosmic catastrophe
  • A rock band made entirely of puppets
  • An unsettling claymation-style adult toy with oversized eyes
  • A priest walking alongside a tentacled alien on a serene beach
  • A scarred, possibly bionic woman accompanied by an adorable fuzzy creature
  • Giant, menacing babies (because why not?)
  • Brutal dinosaur-on-dinosaur action
  • An alien invasion depicted through miniature models
  • And let’s not forget—a very judgmental-looking cat

This volume continues to be executive produced by industry heavyweights Tim Miller (Deadpool) and David Fincher (Seven, The Social Network), with Jennifer Yuh Nelson (Kung Fu Panda 2, Shrek Forever After) returning as supervising director.

In a 2022 interview with Collider, Fincher reflected on the show's legacy: “If the legacy of Love, Death + Robots is that there are a handful—maybe fifteen people—ten years from now who became directors, animators, motion capture performers, or voice actors because they were such big fans of this show, that’s all I care about.” He continued, “This show was never going to pay for your Gulf Stream. You're either here because you want to be here, or you’re not. We’re hoping desperately to get to waste more of our lives toiling in obscurity.”

Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the release date, and get ready to dive once again into the weird, wild world of Love, Death + Robots.
