Disney Mirrorverse to End EOS Service by Year's End

Disney Mirrorverse, the innovative mobile game that brought together an epic mashup of Disney and Pixar characters in a unique universe, has officially announced its end-of-service (EOS). Kabam, the developer behind the game, has set the final date for December 16th, 2024. As of now, the game has been removed from the Google Play Store, and all in-app purchases have been disabled. If you're a current player, you have approximately three months left to enjoy the game before the servers shut down for good.

If you're still playing, Kabam recommends completing the final storyline before the game vanishes forever. Despite initial excitement among Disney enthusiasts when the game was announced, the prolonged two-year early access beta and the scarcity of regular content updates struggled to retain player interest.

The announcement of Disney Mirrorverse's EOS is particularly disappointing as the game never fully realized its potential. The grind-heavy shard collection system posed a significant challenge in maxing out characters without substantial financial investment. However, the game's character designs were a highlight, showcasing stunning creativity and top-notch graphics.

What adds to the sting of the EOS announcement is that just a week prior, Kabam had introduced new story content and added Cinderella as a playable character. This sudden EOS announcement following a recent update has taken many Disney Mirrorverse players by surprise. Yet, this isn't Kabam's first abrupt closure; last year, they discontinued Transformers: Forged to Fight, and prior to that, a spin-off of their successful game Marvel Contest of Champions was also terminated.
