Dynabytes' Fantasma: An Augmented Reality Multiplayer GPS Adventure Now with Expanded Language Support

Fantasma, a multiplayer augmented reality (AR) GPS adventure game, recently received a significant update expanding its language support. This follows its appearance at Gamescom Latam.

The update now includes Japanese, Korean, Malay, and Portuguese. Further expansion is planned, with German, Italian, and Spanish support slated for release in the coming months.

But what exactly is Fantasma? In this game, players hunt and battle paranormal entities using portable electromagnetic fields as bait. Combat takes place in augmented reality, requiring players to maneuver their phones to keep the Fantasmas in view while tapping the screen to attack. Defeated Fantasmas are then captured in special bottles.

Fantasma's creatures appear based on the player's real-world location, encouraging exploration. Players can also deploy sensors to expand their detection range. A social element is incorporated through team play options.

Fantasma is available for free on the App Store and Google Play, with in-app purchases. Download links are provided below. (Note: Links would be inserted here in a live publication).
