Firefighting Simulator: Ignite Announced for PC, PS5, and Xbox

Developer weltenbauer Software Entwicklung, renowned for their Construction Simulator series, along with publisher astragon, have unveiled their latest project: Firefighting Simulator: Ignite. This upcoming simulation game, powered by Unreal Engine 5, is set to immerse players in the challenging world of firefighting. Scheduled for release in Fall 2025, the game will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, allowing players to step into the boots of a firefighter and tackle a variety of emergency scenarios.

In Firefighting Simulator: Ignite, players will engage in realistic firefighting missions, from rescuing trapped citizens to battling complex blazes such as electrical fires, flammable liquid fires, grease fires, backdrafts, flashovers, and explosions. The game supports four-player co-op, enabling teams to work together to combat fires and save lives.

The game promises to deliver an authentic experience with realistic fire, smoke, and heat physics. To enhance immersion, it features officially licensed firefighting equipment and tools from industry-leading brands like HAIX, Fire-Dex, and STIHL. Players will have access to a range of tools including fire hoses, saws, Halligan tools, axes, and extinguishers, as well as personal protective equipment. Additionally, the game includes authentic fire trucks from Rosenbauer America, such as the TP3 Pumper, Viper, 68' Roadrunner, and the brand-new RTX.

Players can also customize their characters, adding a personal touch to their firefighting experience. For those opting for the Extended Edition, additional bonuses include a Dalmatian dog for your firehouse.
