Gamescom 2024: New Game Reveals and Highly Anticipated Updates
Gamescom 2024's Opening Night Live (ONL) promises a thrilling showcase of new game announcements and updates to much-anticipated titles, as confirmed by host and producer Geoff Keighley on X (formerly Twitter).
While Gamescom has already hinted at appearances from titles including Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Monster Hunter Wilds, Civilization 7, MARVEL Rivals, Dune Awakening, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the event is set to unveil several completely unannounced games. The Gamescom 2024 ONL livestream begins August 20th at 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET across official streaming platforms.
Confirmed highlights include the first gameplay footage of Don't Nod's interactive adventure, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, and a new trailer for Warhorse Studios' Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Furthermore, THQ Nordic will unveil a fresh title from Tarsier Studios, the creators behind the critically acclaimed Little Nightmares series.
Call of Duty fans can look forward to the first-ever live campaign playthrough of Black Ops 6. Although Nintendo will be absent from Gamescom 2024, The Pokémon Company's participation is a confirmed highlight of the event.
