Genshin Impact 5.5: Android Controller Support Added

If you're a *Genshin Impact* enthusiast playing on Android, you're in for a treat. The long-awaited controller support is finally making its way to the game with the Version 5.5 update. iOS users have enjoyed this feature since 2021, and now it's Android's turn to level up the gameplay experience.

When Will Genshin Impact Get Controller Support on Android?

Mark your calendars for March 26th, 2025, because that's when you'll be able to dive into the world of Teyvat using a controller on your Android device. The update will officially support four controllers: DualShock 4, DualSense, Xbox Wireless Controller, and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. Keep in mind, all these controllers require Bluetooth connectivity.

But that's not all Version 5.5 has in store. Alongside controller support, the update will bring a host of quality-of-life improvements. One of the standout features is cross-scene quest tracking, allowing you to seamlessly follow your quests across different areas. Simply open the map and teleport directly to your desired destination.

Newer players will benefit from updated boss guides, which will offer better insights into enemy mechanics. Additionally, the Artifact system, Serenitea Pot, and Mail system are all set to receive optimizations. You can catch the full details during the Special Program Announcement scheduled for March 14th.

To stay updated on all the changes coming with Version 5.5, be sure to check out the Developer’s Discussion for the month of March. And if you haven't already, give *Genshin Impact* a look on the Google Play Store.
