With Natlan's storyline nearing completion, development focus shifts towards Snezhnaya, the Cryo Nation ruled by the Tsaritsa. Snezhnaya's immense size, exceeding even Sumeru and Liyue, necessitates a regional division, with expansion planned across multiple updates.

Initial leaks indicated Nod-Krai as a standalone region in Version 6.0. However, recent datamining confirms its position as an autonomous province within Snezhnaya, acting as a vital trade hub connecting the Cryo Nation to the rest of Teyvat. Liben's insights place Nod-Krai in Snezhnaya's southernmost reaches, suggesting access via Fontaine or Natlan.

Leakflow, Extra, and footage from The_Strifemaster reveal a placeholder landmass in the Version 5.4 beta, situated beneath Fontaine's western waterfalls. This landmass intriguingly connects to Mont Esus, a rumored Fontaine expansion area. While not confirming Mont Esus's release timeframe, this connection strengthens the likelihood of Nasha Town and Nod-Krai's imminent arrival.
