Armor has become an essential component of Operators' toolkit in *Call of Duty* Zombies. Players looking to upgrade beyond the standard Tier 3 armor can achieve this through a new Easter egg on The Tomb. Here's how to acquire the Gold Armor Vest in *Black Ops 6*.
Gold Armor, first introduced in *Modern Warfare 3* Zombies, addresses players' frustrations with the constant need to re-plate armor after taking damage. In *Black Ops 6*, Gold Armor automatically repairs over time, eliminating the need for manual plating. Even without armor plates in your inventory, the Gold Armor Vest will self-repair, making it an invaluable asset for resource management and protection against powerful enemies like Amalgams, ensuring you're never downed in one hit.

Follow these steps to obtain the Gold Armor on The Tomb in *Black Ops 6* Zombies:
To initiate the Blood Sacrifices required to unlock Gold Armor in a match on The Tomb, Zombies players must first locate two statue heads. These are essential for repairing the ruined Roman statues in the Dig Site area of the map.
The statue heads are found within the Dark Aether Nexus, inside wooden boxes that must be destroyed using melee attacks to reveal the heads. Once a box is broken, hold the interact button to pick up the statue head. The first head is located next to a palm tree in the corner of The Dark Aether Nexus closest to the green Gateway portal. The second head is easier to spot, located near the Juggernog Perk Machine on the same raised platform within the Dark Aether Nexus.
After collecting both statue heads, return to the Dig Site near The Tomb's initial spawn point. You'll find two Roman Statues here. The first is near the Ammo Cache by the door leading to the Neolithic Catacombs. Interact with the statue to place the head on it, repairing the statue. The second statue is further up in the Dig Site, near the Roman Mausoleum, which houses a Pack-a-Punch machine spawn point. Interact with this statue to place the second head.
Once the heads are placed, a new UI prompt will appear, allowing players to start a Blood Sacrifice. This is a challenging task, so preparation is key.
The Blood Sacrifice spawns at least three high-value target (HVT) versions of Shock Mimics and Doppelghasts. In solo play, three will appear, while more spawn in co-op depending on the number of players. During the Blood Sacrifice, players are locked at 1 HP, with all damage going to armor plates. It's crucial to have a Tier 3 vest and ample armor plates before starting.
The challenge does not despawn existing enemies, so it's best to activate it at the end of a round. Players cannot heal or use powerful support like Chopper Gunners and Mutant Injections during the challenge. However, there are strategies to make it easier.
For solo players, acquiring a Mutant Injection is advisable. Just as you start the Blood Sacrifice, spam the input to activate the Mutant Injection, turning into a Mangler who can take no damage. Let the HVTs surround you and melee them until they're defeated.
In co-op, only one player needs to be in the Dig Site to activate the challenge. Have another player outside the area ready with a Chopper Gunner. As the Blood Sacrifice begins, call in the Chopper Gunner and have the player inside the Dig Site guide the HVTs into view for the aerial attack.
After successfully completing both Blood Sacrifices, the Gold Armor Vest will be available as a free Wall Buy in the Roman Mausoleum.
And that's how to get the Gold Armor on The Tomb in *Black Ops 6* Zombies.
