In *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, your shoes will eventually wear out, leaving you to wander barefoot unless you acquire new ones or repair your old pair. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to manage your footwear effectively in the game.

How to Get Shoes in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Starting the game, you'll have an initial pair of shoes, but you won't need to wear them throughout your entire journey. There are various methods to acquire new shoes. You can discover them in chests or loot them from enemies like poachers. For a more legal approach, you can purchase them.

While tailors, such as the one in Troskowitz, sell shoes, they often don't offer the best stats. For higher-quality footwear, you should visit a cobbler. You can find a cobbler in Trosky, identified on the map by a symbol of three red pieces in a circle, as shown below.

When you interact with a cobbler, you'll find a variety of items for sale, including shoes. Cobbler Matthew, for instance, also sells horse-related items. Additionally, you can purchase materials and both Blacksmith’s Kits and Cobbler’s Kits from him.

How to Repair Shoes

Repairing your shoes in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* can be done in multiple ways. You can have them repaired by cobblers or blacksmiths by selecting the repair option during your conversation with them. This brings up a menu where you can choose which items to repair and view the associated costs. These costs can be reduced if you invest in the Craftsmanship skill, which offers percentage discounts on NPC repairs for all types of gear, including shoes and armor.

Alternatively, you can repair your shoes yourself, though this depends on your Craftsmanship level. If your skill isn't high enough, you won't be able to repair your own shoes or other equipment. To repair your shoes, you'll need a Cobbler’s Kit.

Cobbler’s Kits are available from various vendors, including cobblers and blacksmiths, and can also be found in chests or by looting NPCs. To use a Cobbler’s Kit, navigate to your inventory, select the kit, and press the interact button ("E" on PC). This opens a menu displaying damaged items that can be repaired with the kit. If an item appears faded, your skill level isn't sufficient to repair it. Otherwise, select the items you wish to repair and press the interact button again to complete the repair.

This guide covers everything you need to know about getting and repairing shoes in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. For repairing other gear, use the Blacksmith’s Kit in a similar manner. It's always beneficial to keep your gear in good condition, so don't hesitate to seek out a vendor for repairs when necessary.
