As announced in their recent Twitter (X) post, Hades 2 has been available in early access since May 6, 2024. Supergiant Games celebrated this one-year milestone by expressing gratitude to their fans for their continued support and feedback. They stated, "It's been incredibly exciting and eye-opening as we've worked to realize the potential so many of you see in our game. Thank you for all your feedback and patience as we get closer to the finish line!"

The original Hades followed a similar early access trajectory, which lasted 22 months before its full release. However, Supergiant aims to bring Hades 2 to full release more swiftly, starting with a time-exclusive launch on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Launching First on the Nintendo Switch 2

During a Nintendo Creator’s Voice video series, Supergiant confirmed that Hades 2 will debut on the Nintendo Switch 2. With the anticipated release of the Switch 2 on June 5, fans can look forward to Hades 2 potentially launching around that time.
