During the IGN Fan Fest on February 27, 2025, South Korean developer Neople unveiled an exciting new trailer for The First Berserker: Khazan. This trailer gave fans a glimpse of the challenging boss fights they can expect, featuring Khazan battling an intriguing umbrella-wielding boss, as well as two ferocious beasts.

The umbrella-wielding boss appears to be a significant part of the main storyline, with the trailer showcasing a brief cutscene before the battle commences. Although the HUD was not visible during the fight, this boss seems central to the narrative. The other two bosses were identified as Shactuka, a wolf-like creature, and the Specter of Bhangau, a ram-like beast armed with a hammer and spike.

Exploring the Possible Awakened Form

In a riveting segment of the trailer, Khazan seemingly transforms into an awakened form, shifting from his traditional samurai-inspired look to a more formidable appearance. This new form is marked by a striking red glow and full-body armor, enabling Khazan to unleash a variety of enhanced attacks with different weapons.

While The First Berserker: Khazan offers multiple combat options for Khazan, his awakened form significantly boosts his attack power and agility. The trailer highlighted various combat mechanics, including blocking enemy projectiles, executing parries, and performing fast-paced combos.
