Embarking on the Primitive weekly challenge in *Phasmophobia* can feel like stepping back into the Stone Age, but unlike our cave-dwelling ancestors, we're dealing with spectral hauntings instead of woolly mammoths. This challenge requires us to navigate and investigate without relying on electronics, which adds a thrilling twist to our ghost-hunting endeavors. So, how do we tackle this with limited tools and no tech?

The Primitive Challenge stands out as one of Phasmophobia's toughest weekly challenges. You're tasked with identifying the ghost and completing investigations at 10 Ridgeview Court without the aid of any electronics. This means relying solely on your intuition and understanding of ghost behavior. Remember, you need to complete three qualifying investigations to earn full credit for the challenge.
In this challenge, your usual loadout is stripped down to the bare essentials. Electronics are off-limits, which means no Flashlights, DOTs Projectors, or Video Cameras. Sanity Medication is also unavailable, but you start with a full Sanity meter to help you cope with ghostly encounters.

Your provided equipment includes two Tier 1 Crucifixes for preventing ghost hunts, Tier 2 Firelights, and a full set of Tier 1 Incense for protection. For evidence gathering, you're equipped with two Tier 3 Ghost Writing books and two Tier 1 UV "glowstick" lights, which double as flashlights. Additionally, you have two Tier 1 thermometers for detecting freezing temperatures.
To succeed, you'll need to leverage your knowledge of ghost behaviors, as traditional evidence gathering is severely limited. Utilize our no-evidence cheat sheet to help identify the ghost.

To locate the ghost quickly, take advantage of the increased ghost activity in this challenge. Alternatively, you can use the provided Ouija Board located in the laundry room on the first floor. Ask the ghost for its "favorite room" to narrow down your search, but be cautious as this will cost you 50% of your sanity. Always say "Goodbye" to the board to avoid triggering a Cursed Hunt.

To dive into the Primitive Challenge, start by selecting either Singleplayer or Multiplayer. Navigate to your Difficulty Settings above your profile ID, and select 'Challenge Mode'. Apply the settings, return to the main menu, and choose 10 Ridgeview Court on the map board. The loadout is pre-set and cannot be changed. Once ready, hit 'Ready Up' and 'Start' to begin your challenge.
