Gameloft has just released a major update for Minion Rush: Running Game, introducing extensive changes both behind the scenes and to the core experience. The game now runs on a new engine, includes brand‑new features, and offers fresh ways to play.
To start, the game has officially transitioned to the Unity engine, delivering a complete visual overhaul. The previously cartoony but slightly dated runner now appears more polished and crisp. There’s also a new user interface that’s simpler to navigate.
The highlight of this update is the long‑anticipated endless runner mode, now accessible straight from the main menu. In addition, unique individual Minion abilities have been retired.
Another highly‑requested feature has arrived: player profiles can now be customized with nicknames, avatars, and frames. A new Costume Collection system also lets you earn special bonuses.
There’s a brand‑new Hall of Jam feature too. As you gather bananas during your runs, a progress meter fills up, unlocking rewards such as story puzzle pieces, Minion stickers, G‑Coins, gadgets, and outfits.

Look out for fresh power‑ups like the Disco‑boot, Bouncer, Rocket Blade, and Minion Armor. Gameloft has also added new Gadgets, allowing you to adjust your strategy before a run and gain temporary boosts to distance and performance.
Locations from earlier game versions are receiving visual upgrades as well. Plus, daily and weekly tournaments are now integrated, letting you compete with others and earn rewards along the way.
