Monster Hunter Wilds Update 1 Release Date Announced, Update 2 Coming Summer 2025

Capcom has exciting news for fans of Monster Hunter Wilds, announcing that Title Update 1 will be released on Thursday, April 3 Pacific Time, and April 4 UK time. In a detailed showcase video, Capcom not only confirmed the release date but also highlighted what players can look forward to in this first major post-launch update.

The highlight of Title Update 1 is the introduction of the Grand Hub, a new social space where players can engage in novel ways. Here, you'll be able to enjoy a fresh mini-game named Barrel Bowling and catch nightly performances by the Diva.

Alongside the Grand Hub, Title Update 1 introduces Mizutsune, a leviathan monster known for its hazardous bubbles, into the world of Monster Hunter Wilds. Players can embark on a Zoh Shia quest as well. Additionally, the fearsome Arch-tempered Rey Dau will be available later through an event quest.

For competitive players, Arena Quests will launch with Title Update 1, allowing players to vie for the fastest completion times. Capcom is also rolling out free content for everyone, including classic gestures from the series. Alongside this, Cosmetic DLC Pack 1 will be available with the update.

Looking ahead, Capcom teased a collaboration with an unannounced Capcom game set to arrive at the end of May in Monster Hunter Wilds. A second title update is slated for the summer, featuring the debut of a new monster, giving players even more to look forward to.
