The top-down dungeon crawler genre continues to captivate gamers with its thrilling gameplay of battling through hordes of enemies, whether in vibrant colors or gritty settings. Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon aims to refresh the beloved franchise, blending bright visuals with a hint of darker tones.

While many are already familiar with this crunchy, pixelated roguelite from its time on Apple Arcade, there's exciting news for fans and newcomers alike. Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon is set for a broader release on iOS, Android, and Steam later this year, breaking free from its previous exclusivity.

Set 200 years after the events of the second game, this installment introduces roguelite co-op elements, allowing up to four players to team up. Players can dive into the labyrinthine depths of Chronos Dungeon, switching classes on the fly to uncover the mysterious Paradigm Hourglass and possibly find a way to mend the fractured world.

The timeless aesthetic ensures that the game remains visually appealing even years after its initial release.

Excitement builds as it appears the upcoming release will be the Golden Edition, previously exclusive to Apple Arcade since 2022. This version promises an enriched experience with an additional town, new NPCs, and other enhancements, setting the stage for a comprehensive and definitive version of Oceanhorn: Chronos Dungeon.
