The *Sims 4* Blast from the Past event has players on another treasure hunt, this time for Plathinum and Ironyum. Luckily, finding these resources is easier than you might think. Here's how to locate them.
For those tackling the "Inventing the Past" quests (part of Week 2's "Echoes of Time"), you'll need Plathinum and Ironyum for Emit. Thankfully, the process is straightforward.
Finding Plathinum and Ironyum is identical to finding the Special Time Capsule. Simply locate an area with rocks and dirt mounds (parks are ideal). Pause the game to carefully scan the area. Once you spot a diggable spot, approach and dig. It might take a few attempts, but you'll eventually unearth Plathinum and Ironyum, unlocking the next quest: building the Time Travel Component.
If rocks and mounds are scarce, speeding up in-game time can help them generate faster. However, be mindful not to miss your digging opportunity by leaving the game sped up for too long.
