PlayStation Plus Summer 2025 to Add Resident Evil, Twisted Metal

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members can explore a diverse library of games, featuring both recent releases and beloved classics such as Resident Evil, Twisted Metal, and more.

The latest PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games joining the catalog were announced during the June 2025 State of Play event. All titles are set to arrive this summer, with some launching on the service day-one.

The highlight is Sword of the Sea, a vibrant adventure game focused on fluid surfing mechanics across a stunning oasis. Developed by Giant Squid, the team behind Abzu and The Pathless, it combines skateboard-inspired gameplay, enchanting visuals, and deep exploration. PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers can play it at no additional cost starting August 19, 2025.

Remedy Entertainment’s FBC: Firebreak offers a new story set in the world of Control and arrives for Premium and Extra members on June 17, 2025. Alongside these new experiences, the Premium Classics Catalog will soon expand with retro favorites.

New additions to the Classics Catalog include Deus Ex, Twisted Metal 3, Twisted Metal 4, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. Myst and Riven will also join the lineup later this month as part of Days of Play celebrations.
