How to Get Dhelmise in Pokemon GO

The only way to catch Dhelmise in Pokemon GO during the Beloved Buddies event is through 3-Star Raids. When you encounter Dhelmise as a Raid boss, defeat it to have a chance to catch this unique Sea Creeper Pokemon.

Dhelmise’s Weaknesses & Resistances

Dhelmise is a Grass- and Ghost-type Pokemon, making it vulnerable to Fire-, Dark-, Ice-, Ghost-, and Flying-type attacks, which deal 160% super-effective damage. Conversely, Dhelmise has resistances to Grass-, Water-, Electric-, and Ground-type moves at 63%, and to Fighting and Normal types at 39%.

Can Dhelmise Be Shiny?

Unfortunately, Dhelmise cannot be Shiny in Pokemon GO at the moment. This means you won't encounter a Shiny variant after defeating it in a 3-Star Raid. Typically, new Pokemon are introduced without their Shiny forms, which are often added later, possibly during a future event like a dedicated Community Day.

Increased Wild Spawns During Beloved Buddies

During the Beloved Buddies event, you'll notice an increase in wild spawns of friendship-themed Pokemon. The lineup includes Cutiefly, Diglett, Dunsparce, Fomantis, Illumise, Mantine, Minun, Nidoran♀, Nidoran♂, Plusle, Remoraid, Shellder, Slowpoke, and Volbeat. Excitingly, all these Pokemon have the potential to be Shiny, with increased odds for Shiny Dunsparce and Diglett. Use Lure Modules and Incenses to boost your chances of encountering these special variants.

Beloved Buddies Bonuses In Pokemon GO

The Beloved Buddies event brings several bonuses to Pokemon GO players, enhancing your gameplay experience:
