While playing Citizen Sleeper 2, you're almost certain to see your dice take damage. This guide will show you how to repair them so you can get back to rolling with full strength.
In Citizen Sleeper 2, the primary cause of dice breakage is Stress. Your stress level increases when you fail actions or enter a "Starving" state. As stress accumulates, the likelihood of your dice breaking rises. Each die can withstand three hits before it becomes broken and requires repair.

Dice can break early on Hexport, but you won't be able to repair them until you reach Far Spindle. There, a character named Bliss will unlock the Rig Workshop on your ship. When you're not on a contract, visit the workshop to repair broken dice. You'll have two choices: Improvised Repairs or Dice Repair.
Improvised Repair costs 2 Scrap Components. It fixes one die, but raises your Glitch meter, increasing the chance of getting a glitched die.
Dice Repair uses 1 Rare Component, which is harder to find. However, it adds less to the Glitch meter.
If possible, opt for Dice Repair. That said, Improvised Repair is a viable option and didn't cause major issues in my playthrough. Later in Citizen Sleeper 2, Rare Components become more accessible, so don't hesitate to use them.
Depending on your difficulty, you may get glitched dice, which have a 20% chance for a positive outcome and an 80% chance for a negative one. There isn't a direct method to fix them, but story progression—specifically after the "Diagnose Your Frame" drive—can repair one glitched die. So don't lose hope!
That covers everything on how to repair dice in Citizen Sleeper 2.
