"Shining Revelry Expansion Coming to Pokemon TCG Pocket This Month"

My interest in Pokemon TCG Pocket tends to ebb and flow. I become highly engaged with each new set release and continue playing as long as there are Emblems to earn after securing around 40 wins. Once that phase passes, my routine shifts to logging in daily, opening my packs, participating in a Wonder Pick just for fun, and then moving on until the next day. This cycle is set to repeat with the upcoming expansion, Shining Revelry, launching on March 27th.

Shining Revelry will enhance the TCG Pocket experience with 110 new cards, featuring a diverse range of new Ex Pokemon, Trainer cards, and the stunning art cards that fans adore. The most thrilling addition, hinted at by the expansion's name, is the introduction of Shiny Pokemon. These are unique, differently colored versions of your favorite creatures. For instance, Lucario appears in yellow instead of its usual blue, and Pachirisu boasts a striking pink stripe.

The trailer, which you can view below, offers a tantalizing glimpse of what's to come. A highlight is the new Shiny Charizard Ex, boasting 180 HP and a powerful attack, Steam Artillery, which inflicts 150 damage at the cost of five energy. Its other move, Stoke, allows for the addition of three Fire Energy in a single turn, making it a formidable card.

Another standout Ex card is Lucario. Previously more of a support player in the Space-Time Smackdown expansion, this version is designed for frontline combat. With 150 HP and the Aura Sphere attack, which deals 100 damage for three Fighting Energy and also hits an opponent's Benched Pokemon for 30, Lucario is set to make a significant impact.

The trailer also showcases other cards that, while not game-changers, are visually appealing and exciting. Shiny versions of Wiglett, Pachirisu, and Varoom are on the horizon, looking fantastic. Additionally, there's a beautifully designed Tatsugiri art rare that I'm eager to add to my digital collection.
