The new year has been an exciting time for *Pokemon GO* players, with a slew of new Pokemon to capture. Following the addition of Fidough, trainers can now look forward to encountering Shroodle in *Pokemon GO*. However, obtaining this new addition won't be as simple as encountering it in the wild.
Shroodle, the Toxic Mouse Pokemon, made its debut in *Pokemon GO* on January 15, 2025, as part of the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Originally introduced in *Pokemon Scarlet & Violet*, this makes Shroodle a fresh face in the expansive Pokemon universe. Even after the event concludes, Shroodle will remain available for players to collect.
At its initial release, Shroodle will not have a Shiny variant available in *Pokemon GO*. Trainers eager for the Shiny Shroodle will need to wait for a future event, possibly one focused on Poison-type Pokemon or involving Team GO Rocket, when it might be introduced.

Recent Pokemon debuts like Shroodle aren't found as wild spawns. Instead, trainers will need to hatch Shroodle from 12KM eggs. Starting from 12 AM local time on January 15, 2025, 12KM eggs have a chance to hatch into Shroodle. These chances are likely higher during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, but Shroodle should remain part of the 12KM egg pool afterward.
Since Shroodle is exclusively obtained from hatching 12KM eggs, it's essential to know how to acquire these. 12KM eggs are among the rarer types in *Pokemon GO* and can only be obtained by defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders or Giovanni in battle. The Fashion Week: Taken Over event is an excellent opportunity to gather these eggs, with increased Team GO Rocket activity and easier access to Rocket Radars. However, you can challenge Sierra, Arlo, and Cliff at any time to earn a 12KM egg, provided you have the space in your inventory.

Shroodle's evolution, Grafaiai, also entered *Pokemon GO* on January 15, 2025. Unlike Shroodle, Grafaiai does not hatch from eggs or appear in the wild. The only way to obtain Grafaiai is by evolving a Shroodle, which requires 50 Shroodle Candies. To gather enough candies, trainers may need to hatch multiple Shroodle or set Shroodle as their buddy.
*Pokemon GO* is available to play now, offering trainers a dynamic and ever-evolving world to explore.
