- The Sims Freeplay launches its latest lineup of seasonal events
- Host a Pride celebration, engage in grill-offs and rescue the community pool
- Watch for the arrival of the brand-new Breezy Fields neighborhood
With summer in full bloom (for those enjoying warm weather, at least), top mobile games are rolling out their seasonal updates. Following recent 25th anniversary festivities, The Sims Freeplay makes waves with its new Make a Splash update!
No summer would be complete without backyard barbecues, pool parties and sunny street celebrations. The Sims Freeplay captures this seasonal spirit with exciting new events. Look out for the "Risk it for the Brisket" SimChase (starting July 8th), where you'll compete in an intense grilling showdown against rivals.
Celebrate Pride this month with the SimTown Pride Party Craft Challenge. Meanwhile, watch as Nancy Landgraab returns with another scheme - this time attempting to convert the public pool into a parking lot. Thwart her plans in the new Influence Island event launching June 23rd.

The update also introduces Breezy Fields, a picturesque new neighborhood in Rocky Heights inspired by Holland's tulip-filled countryside. This expansion unlocks for players who've completed the Rustic Acres area.
Be sure to check the full event schedule as additional surprises will arrive throughout summer - including unexpected vacation-time updates. There's never been a better time to make waves in The Sims Freeplay!
