Sonic Rumble Pre-Launch Event: Monkey Ball, Altered Beast Crossover

Sonic Rumble is gearing up for an exciting pre-release crossover event that promises to bring a nostalgic touch to fans of classic Sega games. Scheduled to run from now until May 7th, this event will be accessible to players in regions where Sonic Rumble is currently in soft launch, just before its worldwide release on May 8th.

During this special event, players can claim the Werewolf character from the iconic game Altered Beast for free. This is a fantastic opportunity for fans to dive into the action with a legendary character before the game's global launch.

For those subscribed to the Sega Star Event Pass, even more iconic characters are up for grabs. You'll have the chance to unlock the Weredragon from Altered Beast and Opa-Opa, the beloved mascot from the classic arcade game Fantasy Zone. These additions not only enhance your gameplay but also bring a touch of Sega's rich history to Sonic Rumble.

But the excitement doesn't stop there. Additional characters will be available through in-game purchases. Head over to the Ring Shop to get your hands on Upa-Upa and the Werebear. Meanwhile, the Red Star Ring Shop will feature characters from Super Monkey Ball, including AiAi and MeeMee, adding a fun twist to your roster.
