April 9

⚫︎ SHIFT UP, the creators of Stellar Blade, partnered with JND Studios to launch pre-orders for 1/3 scale hyper-realistic figures of EVE and Tachy. The Dual version, priced at $3,599, sold out in minutes, while the individual EVE figure, priced at $2,199, still has limited stock available. These stunning collectibles are set to be released in Q3 2026.

⚫︎ JND Studios is set to produce officially licensed, hyper-realistic figures of Stellar Blade's protagonist Eve and the eighth boss Tachy. The collaboration with Shift-Up was announced in July 2024, with JND confirming the characters on April 8, 2025. These figures are expected to hit the market later this year.

February 12

⚫︎ During the latest State of Play, Shift Up revealed that Stellar Blade will be available on PC starting June 2025. Alongside this, the studio announced the release of the Goddess of Victory: Nikke DLC in the same month, which includes a new boss battle, collectible dolls and stickers, and an additional outfit.

January 6

⚫︎ Shift Up Studio kicked off the new year by gifting each employee a PlayStation 5 Pro console and a collective monetary bonus of ¥1,000,000 (about $32,000). This gesture celebrates the studio's successful 2023 debut of Stellar Blade on the PS5, which received positive reviews, strong sales, and multiple nominations at The Game Awards.

December 17

⚫︎ Stellar Blade's protagonist Eve won the Best New Character category at the PlayStation Blog's Game of the Year 2024 Awards. Eve triumphed over strong contenders like Jane Harrow from Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Emmrich Volkarin from Dragon Age: The Veilguard, and Ryoma Sakamoto from Rise of the Rōnin. Other notable mentions included Strohl from Metaphor: ReFantazio, Wuk Lamat from Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail, and General Brasch from Helldivers 2.

⚫︎ Stellar Blade's holiday event, starting December 17, 2024, transforms Xion's city square and The Last Gulp gathering hall with festive decorations, including lights and a Christmas tree. Players can enjoy new BGM tracks, "Dawn (Winter)" and "Take Me Away," and participate in a holiday-themed mini-game for rewards.

November 26

⚫︎ Shift Up released a patch to fix issues caused by the Stellar Blade x Nier Automata update. The update, which added Nier Automata-themed cosmetics and a new Photo Mode, had led to crashes and missing costumes. The hotfix improves Photo Mode stability and restores any missing Nier Automata outfits.

⚫︎ Shift Up Studio's technical director, Donki Lee, announced two major updates on November 11, 2024. The first was a free update (version 1.009.001) that introduced four new outfits, one accessory, expanded lip-sync support, and a new photo mode. The second update confirmed the launch of Stellar Blade's first paid DLC, a crossover with NieR: Automata, developed in collaboration with Directors Kim Hyung Tae and Yoko Taro.
