Last year brought many gaming surprises, but Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 stands out as a particularly pleasant one. Its success clearly impressed Focus Entertainment, leading to the unexpected announcement of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3! While details are scarce, a short teaser confirmed the return of series protagonist, Captain Titus.

Saber Interactive, the team behind the hugely popular Space Marine 2, is once again at the helm. Specifics regarding the third installment remain under wraps for now, but expect more information in due course. In the meantime, Space Marine 2 will continue to receive updates, including new co-op missions and a horde mode later this year.

Beyond Space Marine 3, Saber Interactive has a busy development slate. They recently revealed an action game set within the Dungeons & Dragons universe, incorporating a wave-based monster system reminiscent of Space Marine 2. Another exciting project is Turok: Origins, promising thrilling dinosaur-infused combat.

It's remarkable that Space Marine 2, released only six months ago (September 2024), has already captivated over five million players.
