Grizzly Games’ acclaimed RTS title Thronefall has arrived on Android. This streamlined game focuses on constructing and protecting a small kingdom. It debuted on iOS in early May, with Doghowl Games handling mobile publishing.
Thronefall entered early access on PC in August 2023, with its full release in October 2024. Players can test it before purchasing, with the full version priced at $9.99.
Similar to They Are Billions, you begin each day by expanding your kingdom. You construct mills, mines, houses, and defenses like towers and walls. When ready, you trigger nightfall to face enemy waves.
Each night concludes with the game repairing damaged structures and awarding gold based on surviving infrastructure.
Your monarch, the central character, dives into the action. You can rely on towers and crossbowmen to fend off enemies or charge into battle with a bow or spear, each offering unique abilities.
The game offers varied perks. For a classic tower defense experience, select commander mode to emphasize troops and towers while limiting the hero’s damage. Alternatively, enhance the monarch’s combat skills for a more action-packed approach.
