TMNT: Shredder

The iconic *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge* has made its way to mobile devices. Originally launched as a Netflix exclusive in June 2023, this classic beat 'em up game is now available on Android thanks to Playdigious. The best part? You no longer need a Netflix subscription to dive into the action.

TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge Is a ‘Turtle Heroes Beat ‘Em Up’ on Mobile

The mobile edition of TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge mirrors its Netflix counterpart, offering the complete game with all its features and content intact. This includes the Dimension Shellshock and Radical Reptiles DLCs, ensuring you don't miss out on any of the turtle-tastic fun.

For fans of the '80s TMNT series, Shredder’s Revenge is a nostalgic journey back in time. It retains the beloved side-scrolling, arcade-style gameplay and sports a crisp retro pixel art aesthetic that'll make you feel like you're back in the arcade era.

However, don't let the retro vibe fool you into thinking it's stuck in the past. The combat system has been revamped, allowing for seamless ninja combos and cooperative team attacks that elevate the gameplay experience.

The whole TMNT gang is here to join the fight. Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo are all playable, along with fan-favorites April O’Neil, Master Splinter, and Casey Jones. Each character brings their unique flair to the battle.

What’s the Setting?

The adventure begins with Bebop and Rocksteady causing chaos at Channel 6, swiping some mysterious tech. From there, you'll fight your way through 16 stages, each inspired by iconic TMNT locations. You'll encounter classic foes like Baxter Stockman and the Triceratons as you progress.

Playdigious has taken the reins on publishing, while Nickelodeon, Tribute Games, and Dotemu have collaborated on the development and backend. The full version is currently available at a launch discount of $7.99, down from $8.99. Grab it now on the Google Play Store.
