Nintendo Tokyo has introduced an exciting new set of collectibles featuring Zonai Devices, available through their gacha machine. Dive in to discover more about Nintendo's latest collectible capsule toys.
Nintendo Tokyo has enriched its gachapon offerings with the addition of Zonai Devices as new magnetic capsule toys. Exclusively available at this store, the collection showcases iconic devices from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
While the game features a plethora of Zonai Devices, only six have been transformed into magnetic toy capsules. Fans have the chance to randomly obtain a Zonai Fan, Flame Emitter, Portable Pot, Shock Emitter, Big Wheel, or Rocket. Each item is equipped with a magnet that mimics the Ultrahand's adhesive material used for fusing different objects and devices. Additionally, the capsules themselves are designed to resemble those dispensed from TotK's Device Dispenser.
Instead of using Zonai Charges or Construct materials, enthusiasts can acquire these cool items by spending money at Nintendo's gacha machine. Each capsule is priced at around $4, with a limit of two capsules per purchase. If you're looking to try your luck again, you'll need to rejoin the queue. Given the popularity of TotK, expect lines to be quite lengthy.
Nintendo's stores in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto first delighted fans with the Controller Button Collections gachapon in June 2021, celebrating retro consoles. This collection featured six controller keychains, split evenly between Famicom and NES designs. The second wave, released in July 2024, brought the nostalgic charm of SNES, N64, and Gamecube controllers.
Those eager to collect these exclusive items can also visit Nintendo’s Check-In booth at Narita Airport. While the Zonai Devices are currently exclusive to the Nintendo Store in Tokyo, they may soon be available at other locations. Additionally, these collectibles might appear on the secondary market, though likely at a premium price.
