Kuro Games has exciting news for Wuthering Waves fans: the Version 2.1 update, titled "Waves Sing, and the Cerulean Bird Calls," is set to launch soon. This update promises a wealth of new content, including two new five-star Resonators, Phoebe and Brant, who will bring fresh combat dynamics to the game. Alongside them, players can look forward to wielding new weapons like the five-star Luminous Hymn and Unflickering Valor, as well as earning the four-star Ocean’s Gift through a fishing-themed event on the Riccioli Islands.
For those eager to explore, Version 2.1 introduces the Vault Underground and the Riccioli Islands. The Vault, hidden beneath the Sea of Clouds, serves as a secure storage zone, while the Riccioli Islands are steeped in the traditions of Rinascita's past, offering a stark contrast to the structured order of Ragunna City. Both new areas come packed with their own histories and hidden challenges, expanding the game’s lore and exploration opportunities.
New stories and quests are also part of the update, including Brant’s Companion Story, "Sail Day, Captain!" which delves into his background, and the "Silent as a Falling Leaf" Exploration Quest, which uncovers more mysteries in Ragunna. Players will face new Echoes such as "Rage Against the Statue" and "Aero Prism," adding to the game's challenges.
The update also brings several limited-time events. "Old Man and the Whale" invites players to set sail in pursuit of rare fish, while "Apex Ragunna" ties into the Carnevale festival, opening new areas in the Water City. These events offer ample opportunities to gather resources, much like the Wuthering Waves codes that provide numerous freebies.
Combat enthusiasts will find new challenges in "Tactical Simulacra III" and "Infinite Battle Simulation II," along with the permanent high-difficulty combat zone, "Whimpering Wastes."
Mark your calendars: Wuthering Waves Version 2.1 will release on February 13th. For more details, be sure to visit the official website.
