Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 'Bury Your Tears' Launches Soon

HoYoverse has officially announced the launch date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past,' set to be released on April 23rd. This update marks the conclusion of Season 1, promising to tie up loose ends and reveal long-awaited secrets.

What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?

The update promises to unravel the mystery surrounding the Sacrifice crisis. Players will dive deep into Vivian's complex past, while Hugo's fate, previously shrouded in speculation, will finally be clarified. After Hugo's dramatic fall into the Hollow, tensions between Mockingbird and TOPS escalate, prompting the Mayor to dispatch a special Void Hunter-rank investigator to the scene.

Joining Vivian, Proxies will venture into enemy territory in pursuit of the Sacrifice Core. Vivian's journey will involve confronting figures from her past, as the conspiracy involving the Exaltists begins to unravel. Here’s the Character Lineup

Two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird will be introduced. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, wields a parasol and rapier, dealing substantial Corruption damage especially when synergized with other characters' EX Special Attacks. Hugo, the second new addition, is an Ice Attack Agent who uses a suitcase that transforms into a scythe. His unique Totalize effect increases damage based on the duration of an enemy's stun.

Robin, the agile Bangboo partner of Mockingbird, will join them, throwing cards with random effects. Additionally, Physical Anomaly Agent Jane and Fire Stun Agent Lighter will return in Version 1.7’s banners.

Version 1.7 also introduces new events, including "Say It With Flowers," where players can manage a flower shop, fulfill design requests, and create floral arrangements. Completing these commissions unlocks a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode, along with exclusive rewards.
