Ryff

A key feature of RYFFC is the Ryff. A Ryff is a concise "hot take" limited to 88 characters, generated by users about an article. Ryffers engage with articles, pop culture, and news in a unique way, moving beyond traditional comments. If you find a Ryff you want to respond to, you can interact with the Ryffer through a Ryff Back. At RYFFC, we encourage thoughtful exchanges; you can only Ryff on another's Ryff once until they respond, so choose your words wisely.

Self Moderation

At RYFFC, users have the power to self-select their preferred level of exposure to controversial or triggering material. We offer three moderation levels:

G - "General" audience level, for users who prefer mild or non-controversial content.
M - "Moderate" audience level, for those comfortable with mild to moderately controversial content.
BE - "Bleeding Edge" audience level, for users willing to view all available content, including highly controversial material.

Voting
