Thunee, derived from the Tamil word for water, is a beloved trick-taking card game that originated in Durban, South Africa. This engaging game has roots in the Indian and Sri Lankan game known as 304. Whether you choose to play in Single Player or Multiplayer mode, Thunee offers an unparalleled gaming experience that closely simulates the traditional game.

Note: To ensure the best gaming experience and to upload or update your scores (wins), an online connection is necessary.

In Multiplayer mode, you have the flexibility to invite a friend to be your partner or challenge them to a game. Invitations are made easy through push notifications or WhatsApp messages. After each game, the results and statistics are meticulously stored and displayed on the statistics page, allowing you to proudly showcase who the best player is in your circle.

For beginners, the Easy difficulty setting is designed to help you learn the game with helpful assistance and in-game narration.

The Thunee app is fully customizable through its settings/options menu, allowing you to tailor the game to your preferred style of play. You can adjust various options, including:

• Difficulty Level: Choose between Hard, Medium, or Easy.
• Score Assistance: For Medium and Easy levels, get real-time trick/hand values and scores.
• Bidding Options: Decide when to be prompted to bid—either all the time or only when you have three or more cards of the same suit or J9.
• Early Win/Loss Notification: Set the app to notify you of a win or loss early if the required score is reached (enabled by default).
• Early Victory Claims: Allow the option to claim victory early, including Double and Khanuck claims.
• Trick Clearing Time: Adjust the duration to clear a trick (hand), or choose to clear it by clicking. The default setting is one second, but you can clear it earlier by clicking.
• Audio Customization: Enjoy vocal sounds for bidding, calling Jodhi, and more.
• Visual Customization: Change the game's appearance by selecting different backgrounds or your preferred color with a vignette effect. You can also switch card packs.
• Royals Option: Include the Royals variant, where the value of cards is reversed (Queens become Jacks, Kings become Nines, etc.).
