How to Play

*Town of Salem* is designed for 7 to 15 players, each randomly assigned to one of several alignments: Town, Mafia, Serial Killers, Arsonists, or Neutrals. If you're on the side of the Town (the good guys), your mission is to identify and eliminate the Mafia and other villains before they wipe you out. The challenge? You won't know who's friend or foe.

Conversely, if you're an evil role like a Serial Killer, your task is to secretly murder Town members under the cover of night and evade detection.

Roles

With 33 unique roles, *Town of Salem* offers a fresh experience every time you play. Before the game kicks off, players enter a lobby where the host can customize the roles available. Once the game starts, roles are randomly assigned from this selection, and each player receives a role card detailing their abilities and alignments. Game Phases

Night

During the night phase, most roles execute their abilities. Serial Killers stealthily take lives, Doctors heal the wounded, and Sheriffs investigate for suspicious activity.

Day

The day phase is when Town members convene to discuss their suspicions about who might be an evil role. Once the voting phase begins, a majority vote can send someone to trial.

Defense

In the defense phase, the accused pleads their case to the Town. A convincing story could save them from the gallows, but a weak defense might seal their fate.

Judgement

The judgement phase is crucial as the Town votes on the accused's fate. Players can vote guilty, innocent, or abstain. If the guilty votes outnumber the innocent, the accused faces execution by hanging.

Customization

*Town of Salem* allows players to personalize their experience by selecting their map (town setting), character, pet, lobby icon, death animation, house, and a custom name. Your choices will be visible to other players during the game.

Achievements

The game boasts over 200 unique achievements. Completing these can unlock various in-game items, adding an extra layer of engagement and reward to your gameplay.
