Resilience is the capacity to bounce forward after adversity. It involves seeking support from others to recover, heal, grow, and ultimately succeed. By developing your authentic Super Me!, you gain the encouragement and practical skills to navigate difficult circumstances. Super Me! is a fun, engaging app designed to help children build awareness and skills in resilience. Within the app, players build a community that includes their family, neighbors, and school. They learn about belonging to a family and community, accessing support, staying safe, maintaining health, learning with confidence, expressing creativity and hope, understanding values, and creating change while planning for the future. Throughout the experience, players interact with other community characters, test their knowledge, compete in enjoyable activities, and undertake real-life tasks. As they progress, players earn superhero accessories, culminating in their transformation into their true Super Me!
