2025 Eisner Awards: Batman, Spider-Man Nominees Unveiled

The list of nominees for the 2025 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards has been unveiled. Often regarded as the Oscars of the comic book world, the Eisners celebrate the finest and most notable releases from the previous year.

Fantagraphics and DC Comics lead the pack in terms of publisher recognition, with Fantagraphics securing 24 nominations (plus 1 shared) and DC receiving 10 nominations (plus 9 shared). Tom King, the writer behind *Wonder Woman*, leads the creator nominations with four nods, while several others received three nominations each.

The 2025 Eisner Award winners will be announced at San Diego Comic-Con on July 25, during a ceremony held at the San Diego Hilton Bayfront Hotel. Below is the complete list of nominees:
