If you’ve been playing Lionheart Studio’s hack-and-slash roguelike Valhalla Survival and felt short on fresh content, there’s good news: Lionheart has just released three new heroes alongside a new Ballista skill.
The three new heroes include Mani, Guardian of the Night—a Warrior who uses golden flashes to strike multiple foes while boosting attack and defense through gigantification. Then there’s Idis, a fate-weaving Sorceress capable of summoning the legendary tree Yggdrasil to mitigate damage and restore health to nearby allies.
Finally, Sol brings a Lightbringer Rogue archetype, summoning Valkyries (occasionally called “sun’s warriors”) that fire arrows and suppress nearby enemies. These reinforcements will be vital—especially with the arrival of Nightmare Mode.
NightmarishWhat exactly is Nightmare Mode? In short, it’s an even tougher difficulty tier unlocked after clearing Chapter 3, Stage 30. Brace yourself for brutally intense encounters designed to test your limits. Once you’re prepared, take on the newly launched Eternal Battlefield boss raid.
Thankfully, a new Ballista skill offers support for short-range heroes—deploy a turret that fires piercing arrows from afar. In addition, the Accessory Gem Socket System now lets you socket gems into accessories as well as other gear.
