Exciting news for *Battlefield* fans: EA has unveiled a new tool called Battlefield Labs, which is essentially an internal closed beta for upcoming games in the iconic series. The developers have given us a sneak peek with a brief glimpse of gameplay footage from the current pre-alpha build.
Inside Battlefield Labs, a select group of invited participants will have the chance to dive into and experiment with the core mechanics and concepts of the game. However, not all features tested will necessarily make it into the final product. Before gaining access to these exciting gameplay elements, participants will need to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). The available game modes for testing will include fan-favorites like Conquest and Breakthrough. The early testing phases will primarily focus on the core combat mechanics and the game's renowned destruction system, with subsequent phases aimed at fine-tuning game balance.
EA has opened pre-registration for Battlefield Labs on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series consoles. In the coming weeks, a few thousand players will receive their golden tickets to join the testing. The plan is to gradually expand the program to more regions, allowing more fans to experience the game's development firsthand.
